MC EINAR are a pioneering Danish rap act who released Den Nye Stil in 1988, the first Danish rap album, and followed it with Ahr Der! in 1989, producing some of the most enduring tracks in Danish hip-hop history including the perennial Christmas classic "Jul, det' cool". The original lineup of Einar Enemark, DJ Jan, and Jesper Vildmand continues to perform, supplemented by Jens Haack on saxophone and Ole Jensen on guitar at selected shows.
