In Flames are a Swedish melodic death metal band founded in Gothenburg in 1990. Known for combining massive riffs, melodic guitar work, large choruses and the distinctive vocals of Anders Fridén, they have toured the world extensively and influenced generations of metal bands. Their most recent album, 'Foregone', was released in 2023.
