Medea Luz theater-performance

A multidisciplinary theatre piece at Théâtre Denise-Pelletier in Montreal, running from 19 January to 6 February 2027. Performer and author Kathy-Alexandra Retamal Villegas reimagines the myth of Medea through the story of her Chilean mother, who fled a country scarred by dictatorship. The staging blends trilingual text with live music and moves between reality, dream and fiction, and between the intimate and the political.
