Birnir Jón Sigurðsson

Icelandic writer credited with "Le département de la Mort", presented at Montreal's Théâtre de Quat'Sous. The play is a nightmarish retelling of the Orpheus myth in which a musician tries to bring his dead father back to life. It is both biting and moving, and it reflects on death and on aging parents.
