Marko Hietala

Marko Hietala is a Finnish musician who has spent over four decades shaping heavy and symphonic metal, as a founding member of Tarot, a member of supergroup Sinergy, and a key figure in Nightwish. His solo debut Mustan sydämen rovio (2019) was followed by Roses from the Deep (2025), both showcasing his thunderous bass lines and rich vocal style.
