Édouard Louis

Édouard Louis, born Eddy Bellegueule, is a French writer who published his autobiographical novel The End of Eddy at 21. He won the Pierre Guénin Prize against homophobia in 2014, and his first three novels have been translated into about thirty languages. He has worked with directors such as Stanislas Nordey and Thomas Ostermeier, and his latest novel, from 2024, is Monique Escapes.
