Aïta Mon Amour

Aïta Mon Amour is a Moroccan duo formed by rap pioneer Widad Mjama and Khalil Epi, a leading figure in Arab electronic music. They reinterpret the centuries-old aïta tradition — a raw, poetic rural blues historically sung by the chikhates — blending Mjama's powerful vocals with Epi's richly layered productions of electronics, heavy basslines, and organic textures. Their debut album Abda draws inspiration from Morocco's Abda region and has earned them international acclaim.
