Marcus Merasty

Marcus Merasty (he/they) is a Nēhithaw/Cree performer, choreographer and multidisciplinary artist with ancestral roots in Wapâwikoscikanihk/Pelican Narrows in northern Saskatchewan. Their practice weaves together traditional and contemporary Indigenous dance forms, choreography, visual imagery, storytelling, poetry, film, and object-based performance. Their most recent work, The Golden Rez Dog, premiered in 2026.
