Histoires de danses 2026 show

A two-evening dance showcase bringing together landmark works that have shaped the identity of Festival Montpellier Danse over nearly forty years. The programme includes iconic pieces like Mathilde Monnier's Soapéra and Christian Rizzo's 100% Polyester, reconstructions of Dominique Bagouet's works by Laurent Pichaud with original performers, Fabrice Ramalingom's homage to Trisha Brown, plus new creations: Salia Sanou and Nicolas Clauss present D'un lointain si proche blending dance, poetry, music and video; Hofesh Shechter presents a variation on IN THE BRAIN with Shechter II company; and Jann Gallois performs a solo from Impulsion. Music by Babx and Benjamin Chaval references memorable Festival Montpellier Danse soundtracks. Approximately 90 minutes of ambulatory performance across venues.
