Mercury Rev

Mercury Rev are a band from Buffalo, New York, founded in 1989, known for their dreamlike and experimental approach to rock music. Their 1998 album Deserter's Songs is considered one of the defining records of the decade, and their 2001 follow-up All Is Dream was praised by Austin Chronicle as surpassing even that high watermark. The band has been celebrated by The Guardian, Rolling Stone, and the BBC for constantly expanding the expressive possibilities of rock music.
