Declan Welsh and The Decadent West

Declan Welsh and The Decadent West are a Scottish indie-rock band with post-punk influences, fronted by Declan Welsh with Ben Corlett on bass. Their energetic, rhythm-driven sound draws comparisons to Talking Heads, LCD Soundsystem, Franz Ferdinand and Idles, and their politically aware lyrics have earned them a Scottish Album of the Year nomination and millions of streams. Their third album Explicit Agitation is due in September 2026.
